TL;DR - I'm an editor, colorist, vfx artist, producer and sometimes director.

I got my first real taste of filmmaking in August 2009, working as a best boy in the grip department on a web series for Fangoria Magazine. I started attending film school later that year, and it sealed my fate in the business.

I produced and edited my first feature film, Requiem for the Damned, alongside Robert Tinnell (Believe, Kids Of The Round Table) which went on to received domestic distribution through Hannover House at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. In 2011 I graduated at the top of my class from the George A. Romero Filmmaking Program in Pittsburgh, PA, where I earned an Associate in Specialized Business (ASB) degree.

My work on the film Requiem for the Damned led to an editing position with Tinnell's production company, Allegheny Image Factory. Over five years, I would become a lead editor and the post-production supervisor overseeing several films, television shows, and commercials. During this time, I started my company, RPOST, a post-production entity focusing on post-production services for the advertising, film and television industries.

RPOST most recently completed VFX and titling work for the feature films Feast Of The Seven Fishes, which received domestic and theatrical distribution through Shout! Factory and Back Fork, which received domestic and international distribution through Uncork'd Entertainment and received high praise from the Hollywood Reporter and Los Angeles Times.

While continuing to freelance, in 2012, I returned to the George A. Romero Filmmaking Program—but this time to teach. I lead courses on cinematography and a post-production audio class alongside award-winning sound designer Kelley Baker (Good Will Hunting, Psycho, Finding Forrester, Far From Heaven).

In 2014 I joined People Who Think to spearhead the agency's rise to a TV production heavyweight and played an integral role in its digital conversion. I have worked my way up, building, guiding, and cultivating the creation of an in-house video team with divisions serving the corporate and food and beverage sectors. I consulted and led the build-out of post-production suites, equipment acquisition, the design and implementation of workflows, storage and archival solutions, quality control procedures, and continually grew my skillset alongside the department's growth. Along the way, I taught and mentored a fantastic team of editors, motion graphics artists, visual effects artists, and trained agency producers in managing production and post-production budgets and schedules.

In 2021 I was recruited by The Brandon Agency to join their team as Director of Integrated Production to lead the creation of an internal production group within the agency.

In 2022 I returned to People Who Think to lead Cadence Post, as new post-production venture in partnership with managing partner Jay Connaughton.

Outside of work, I serve on the George A. Romero Filmmaking Program's advisory board based in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm also a judge for both the Telly Awards and the Suncoast Emmy Awards.
